  My wife and I had been wanting to stop by Meritage Bistro for a while now, so we took my Aunt there for lunch for Mother's Day today. We were not disappointed! Absolutely delicious food! Our waiter Taylor did a wonderful job, and the atmosphere was very cozy and relaxing. We will definitely be going back to enjoy this wonderful little restaurant!!

  Bad experience. First time visiting this establishment. We were seated for an early lunch, only 2-3 tables were filled. Our waiter came over shortly after we were seated to offer glasses of water and tell us about the specials of the day. He then left, I assume to give us time to look over the menu, 20 minutes later we were still sitting there with no waiter, no one to take our order. This is unacceptable in Highlands. There are plenty of other restaurants in Highlands that offer better service. We abruptly left and will not return. We will share this experience with our neighbors & guests.

  My brother and his wife took me to this quaint restaurant for an early dinner. While we were the first guests to arrive, the dining area soon was filled. The waitress was exciting, entertaining and attentive. The food was delicious, as was the wine! Try the brussel sprouts, they were fabulous. The owner(s) made a point of assuring our dining experience was memorable. I can hardly wait to go back!
